Dear California
Dear California Government/Sacramento,
You were insulted on April 9th and the insult-er is heading towards you on May 1st.
This past December 30–31, Sean Fuecht (Let Us Worship) brought his rock and roll version of Christian Nationalism to Los Angeles County to celebrate the Azusa Street Revival of 1906 that birthed Pentecostalism in modern Christianity. The Azusa Street Revival was led by a son of slaves named Rev. William Seymour. Fuecht’s “celebration” was COVID worship protests — superspreader events at a time of a crisis COVID outbreak in Los Angeles.
On April 9th, 2021 Sean Fuecht came to Little Tokyo Downtown Los Angeles to receive the William J. Seymour Award and in his Instagram post mocked how Los Angeles held him accountable the end of 2020. He could do this mocking because the California State Senate gave him a companion award.
HUH????
And on May 1st, Sean (Let Us Worship) comes to Sacramento. This award from the California State Senate is confusing and deeply offensive.
Please address.
Sincerely,
California People
